Van Cols have been in business for over 50 years and have grown from a small family
concern to a substantial business with over 30 employees today.
The company was founded in 1957 by Eddie and Cora van Helfteren as a school photographic
company and today is run by their sons Janus and Antonius. Van Cols is now one of
the country's foremost school photographers as well as having established a highly
respected creative design company over the last 20 years.
We are now recognised as one of the most technologically advanced schools photography
businesses in the country.
We are located, appropriately, in an old school house in Great Horkesley on the
Essex/Suffolk border and the Van Cols ethos of combining strong traditional values
with modern techniques and state of the art technology is reflected in our Offices.
Our newly built in-house lab allows us total control in the processing of our photographs,
from capture to delivery and our in-house digital manipulation experts are able
to perfect every image before it is offered for sale to parents.
Every photograph is scrutinised by our quality control system before being speedily
and efficiently packed and delivered by the team.
